Satellite Systems Operations Engineer (m/f/d) for Galileo Service Support
Key Responsibilities
You will report directly to the project lead (m/f/d) and oversee the execution of technical tasks, which include: Leading technical inquiries and anomaly assessments in partnership with satellite operations teams Coordinating with external partners involved in space segment maintenance during weekly Anomaly Review Board sessions and other technical discussions Collaborating with internal System and Subsystem teams to leverage technical expertise Designing and validating recovery strategies with expert assistance and facilitating their in-flight implementation Processing and analyzing telemetry data while maintaining supporting tools and infrastructure Participating in the preparation of technical proposals for clients Contributing to the advancement of our initiatives within the Galileo framework You will also have the chance to assist with other Galileo projects within the Navigation division. In this context, you will report to the Lead Operations Engineer Preparing operational products for upcoming satellite launches Validating operational products on the satellite testing platform Participating as an Operations Engineer (m/f/d) in operational preparation campaigns (simulations, testing initiatives)Required Qualifications
Degree in aerospace engineering or a related field Strong understanding of satellite systems; experience in satellite operations is advantageous Proactive and self-directed work ethic Team-oriented mindset Proficient in written and spoken English; knowledge of German or other languages is a plus Willingness to travel to client locationsOur Offerings
