Satellite Operations System Engineer (m/f/d) for Galileo Service Operation Support
Key Responsibilities
You will report to the project manager (m/f/d) and be responsible for executing technical activities, including: Leading technical inquiries and anomaly investigations in collaboration with satellite operations teams. Coordinating with external stakeholders involved in space segment maintenance during weekly Anomaly Review Board meetings and other technical discussions. Collaborating with internal System and Subsystem teams to provide technical expertise. Designing and validating recovery actions with expert assistance and supporting their implementation in-flight. Processing and analyzing telemetry while maintaining supporting tools and infrastructure. Participating in the preparation of technical proposals for clients. Contributing to the development of our activities within the Galileo framework. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support other Galileo projects within the Navigation department, reporting to the Lead Operations Engineer. Preparing operational products for upcoming satellite launches. Validating operational products on the satellite test bench. Participating as an Operations Engineer (m/f/d) in operation preparation campaigns, including simulations and test campaigns.Required Qualifications
Degree in aerospace engineering or a related field. Strong understanding of satellite systems; experience in satellite operations is advantageous. Proactive and self-directed work style. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficient in written and spoken English; knowledge of German or other languages is a plus. Willingness to travel to customer sites.What We Offer
