Job Summary

OHB System AG, a leading European space company, is seeking a highly skilled Satellite Operations System Engineer to join its team in Bremen. As a key member of the Galileo Service Operation Support team, you will be responsible for the execution of technical activities, including leading technical queries and anomaly investigations, coordinating with external stakeholders, and designing and validating recovery actions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical queries and anomaly investigations in collaboration with satellite operations teams
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders involved in space segment maintenance activities
  • Design and validate recovery actions with experts and support their implementation in-flight
  • Process and analyze telemetry and maintain supporting tools and infrastructure
  • Participate in the preparation of technical proposals for customers
  • Contribute to the development of Galileo activities within the Navigation department

Requirements

  • Degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of satellite systems and experience in satellite operations
  • Pro-active and self-managed working style
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Working level proficiency in written and spoken English, German, or other language skills
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites
