Job Description
We are seeking a Satellite Operations System Engineer to join our team in Bremen. As a key member of our Galileo Service Operation Support team, you will be responsible for the execution of technical activities, including:
- Leading technical queries and anomaly investigations in collaboration with satellite operations teams
- Coordinating with external stakeholders involved in space segment maintenance activities
- Designing and validating recovery actions with experts and supporting their implementation in-flight
- Processing and analyzing telemetry and maintaining supporting tools and infrastructure
- Participating in the preparation of technical proposals for customers
Your Qualifications
- Degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent
- Good knowledge of satellite systems, with experience in satellite operations a plus
- Pro-active and self-managed working style
- Ability to work in a team
- Working level proficiency in written and spoken English, German, or other language skills advantageous
- Willingness to travel to customer sites
