Director of Marketing Communications for EMEA

As the Director of Marketing Communications for EMEA, you will spearhead a talented group of marketing communications experts and event coordinators to propel marketing strategies and campaigns throughout the EMEA region. Working within a matrix structure, you will engage closely with global product marketing and digital marketing teams to ensure that our initiatives align with key business goals and strategies. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic campaign planning for the EMEA region, leadership of your team, and collaboration across functions to effectively position and promote our offerings in the B2B sector.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Campaign Development: Formulate and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
- Integrated Campaign Oversight: Manage the creation and execution of cohesive marketing campaigns, which include content development, digital marketing efforts, and event marketing.
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of marketing communications and event specialists, providing support and performance oversight.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with global product marketing teams to grasp product positioning, messaging, and market entry strategies, ensuring regional marketing efforts are in sync.
- Digital Marketing Integration: Collaborate with digital marketing teams to weave digital tactics into overarching marketing campaigns, utilizing channels such as email, social media, and online advertising.
- Event Coordination: Direct the planning and execution of B2B events alongside sales teams, including trade shows, conferences, seminars, and webinars, aimed at generating leads and enhancing brand visibility.
- Budget Oversight: Effectively manage marketing budgets, strategically allocating resources to maximize return on investment and achieve business objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales teams, product managers, and executive leadership, to ensure support for marketing initiatives.
- Performance Analysis: Collaborate with the global analytics team to monitor marketing campaigns and initiatives, continuously optimizing programs for business impact.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Over 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, particularly within the EMEA region; prior experience in technology, device, and distribution marketing is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a talent for inspiring and motivating teams to meet objectives in a matrix environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a proven ability to create and implement integrated marketing plans that drive results.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with global and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in event management, including planning, execution, and return on investment analysis for B2B events.
- Proficiency in (digital) marketing tools and tactics, including email marketing platforms, social media management tools, and web analytics.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
