Hobson Prior is in search of a Strategic Growth Manager for a long-term position located in Munich. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in our Research and Clinical Development division, concentrating on client engagement and strategic assistance. This position may require some travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the identification of new market opportunities, emphasizing regulatory, clinical, biometrics, and medical strategy sectors.
  • Comprehend and advocate for our diverse service offerings, particularly in Research and Clinical Development.
  • Proactively identify and connect with prospective clients within the DACH region.
  • Organize and engage in introductory meetings with new clients, serving as a liaison for senior team members.
  • Contribute to strategic dialogues aimed at fostering business growth and market expansion.
  • Oversee the preparation of proposals and contracts in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Work alongside the Marketing department to enhance marketing initiatives and respond to new client inquiries.
  • Maintain records of current and former clients, including follow-ups, timelines, and performance metrics, utilizing CRM software.
  • Assist in the quality assurance and review process for new business proposals and presentations.
  • Ensure the CRM system is consistently updated.
  • Engage in internal, client, and other necessary meetings.
  • Adhere to ICH GCP standards, FDA regulations, and company procedures.
  • Balance and resolve competing priorities to meet commitments.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business or Sciences is preferred.
  • Background in clinical research within a Clinical Research Organization (CRO), biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device sector.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with robust organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex or unclear challenges.
  • Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Self-motivated individual who excels in a collaborative yet flexible team setting.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with the capacity to quickly connect with potential clients and build new relationships.
  • Prior experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
