Lead the Development of New Large Project Investment Opportunities

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of new large project investment opportunities for Linde, with a specific focus on Clean Hydrogen in the EMEA region. You will drive the maturation of opportunities from concept to final investment decision, with acceptable commercial structure and modelling of key financial KPIs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Utilize your understanding of markets, competitive landscape, regulatory framework, and customers/industry trends to develop investment opportunities.
  • Connect with internal and external stakeholders to drive timely decisions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop safe, technical, and commercial concepts with Linde's offerings to customers/partners.
  • Closing long-term supply agreements without dilution of value during negotiation of T&Cs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or similar technical discipline, post-graduate qualification in business or marketing is a plus.
  • +5 years relevant experience in Industrial Gas business driving complex projects and leading high-performing teams across multiple business functions.
  • Strong understanding of project management, leading workstreams, ensuring accountability, and tracking deliverables.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities within tight timelines.
  • Good commercial skills and investment opportunity development.
  • Strong experience with customer relationships development and key leadership attributes, including strong communication, interpersonal skills, instilling trust, resourcefulness, and being pro-active.
  • Understanding and/or experience of the renewables industry is a plus.
