We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Forwarding Sales Manager to join our team at DP World Australia. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing and new clients to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in sales and business development, preferably in the freight forwarding industry.
- Strong knowledge of the freight forwarding market, including industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
