About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at 1 People Gmbh. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for extending our global reach through expert discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers through in-person meetings, telephone calls, and emails.
  • Cold call to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
  • Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets.
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales.
  • Gather market and customer information.
  • Challenge any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy.
  • Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions.
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations.
  • Feed future buying trends back to employers.
  • Review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
  • Monitor deliveries and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company.
  • Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis.
  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations.
  • Promote the company's products addressing or predicting clients' objectives.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in sales or business development, work experience in the fashion Industry.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in business or management.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working experience with sales techniques.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage resources.
  • Market knowledge, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapports.
  • Time management and planning skills.
  • Proven sales track record.
