About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team at ISS | Institutional Shareholder Services. As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in supporting our sales efforts across the EMEA territories for our market-leading suite of Responsible Investment Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and close ESG sales prospects and upsell with existing clients to achieve revenue and renewal goals.
  • Grow ISS' ESG market share, recognition, and perception within the investment management and asset owner community.
  • Continuously assess ESG market opportunities, define and update a sales plan for the territory, and discuss with management.
  • Ensure detailed sales and renewal reporting and forecasting.
  • Work closely with ISS BDR and Marketing managers to define products, services, and marketing plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships amongst existing clients and prospects.
  • Record all client and prospect contacts and all meeting and telephone activity information into our CRM system.
  • Share relevant industry and opportunity information across the sales group and with other departments.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working within institutional sales and relationship management with a focus on meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Bachelor or master's degree with a background in Finance, Economics, or other related discipline is preferred.
  • Track record of relationship management, business development, and revenue generation either selling directly or through strategic partners.
  • Demonstrated relationship and project management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills, with expert judgment to help set priorities.
  • Excellent organizational and verbal skills.
  • Absolute personal and business integrity.
  • Fluent in German and at least one other European language.
