Your Contribution

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Finance & Controlling Working Student to support our financial operations within the EMEA region. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of our financial processes as we scale globally.

You will collaborate with both internal teams and external partners, engaging in essential financial activities that drive our overall performance. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller and the Geschäftsführer in Germany, you will focus on various accounting responsibilities pertinent to our EMEA operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the accounting functions in the EMEA region and manage various related tasks.
  • Participate actively in daily business operations to gain a thorough insight into our financial processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, forecasts, and budgeting.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and digital transformation to enhance our finance, controlling, and accounting frameworks.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in both German and English.
  • Currently enrolled in a business administration program with a focus on accounting, finance, controlling, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or similar roles, such as internships or student positions, is advantageous.
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles, concepts, and standards, with a keen interest in controlling.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and possess a numerical aptitude along with familiarity with various controlling systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
  • Ability to work independently and reliably.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective time management skills, capable of meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
