Internship Overview
As a Finance Intern, you will collaborate closely with our finance and accounting teams, supporting essential financial processes while gaining invaluable insights into financial reporting, analysis, and compliance. This internship offers exposure to a diverse array of finance and accounting functions, including but not limited to financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and auditing.
- Assist in the creation of financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Support financial analysis initiatives by collecting and interpreting financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for enhancement.
- Help maintain precise financial records and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes by managing invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and compliance activities, including gathering necessary documentation and completing forms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Growth, Operations, Tech) to assist with financial projects and initiatives as required.
- Currently enrolled (or recently graduated) in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficient in German and possess good English language skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret financial data and derive meaningful insights.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Detail-oriented with robust organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
