In this internship, you will collaborate closely with our finance and accounting professionals, gaining hands-on experience in essential financial operations and acquiring valuable knowledge in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance. This role will expose you to various finance and accounting activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and auditing.

The company aims to harness the immense potential of cross-border supply for the Western Market by offering global access to high-quality products through its cutting-edge platform. Since its inception, the firm has discreetly served numerous businesses without a public profile or media exposure.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Support financial analysis by collecting and evaluating financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for enhancement.
- Help maintain precise financial records and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and accounting principles.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes by managing invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Assist in preparing tax filings and compliance documentation, including gathering necessary supporting information and completing forms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Growth, Operations, Tech) to assist with financial projects and initiatives as required.
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in German and possess good English language skills.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data and derive meaningful insights.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Proactive mindset and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.
This internship is based in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is a prerequisite.
