Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Finance and Accounting Intern (m/f/d) to become an integral part of our Finance department within our portfolio company.
In this internship, you will collaborate closely with our finance and accounting teams, engaging in essential financial operations and gaining valuable exposure to financial reporting, analysis, and compliance. This role will allow you to explore various finance and accounting functions, such as financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and auditing.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the creation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Support financial analysis initiatives by collecting and evaluating financial data to uncover trends, variances, and areas for enhancement. Help maintain precise financial records and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and accounting principles. Aid in the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes by managing invoices, payments, and receipts. Assist in the preparation of tax submissions and compliance activities, including gathering necessary documentation and completing forms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Growth, Operations, Tech) to support financial projects and initiatives as required.Candidate Profile
Currently enrolled (or recently graduated) in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. Proficient in German and possess good English language skills. Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret financial data and derive meaningful insights. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools. Familiarity with accounting principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to function effectively in a team setting. Detail-oriented with robust organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
