About the Role

ConfiARTE is seeking a highly skilled IPTV Support Specialist to join our team in Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for IPTV applications and products
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IPTV-related issues, including log analysis and root cause identification
  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve technical queries
  • Implement new features and business improvements by configuring IPTV products
  • Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, including servers, storage, and network devices
  • Perform Linux backend and file system maintenance, as well as database maintenance
  • Install and configure new application patches and releases
  • Set up and maintain testing environments
  • Support functionality and acceptance testing during IPTV system implementation
  • Develop automation scripts and perform application testing
  • Ensure accurate documentation of standards, guidelines, and procedures for effective application management
  • Prepare system health, capacity, and performance reports
  • Implement and support audit and compliance regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or Computer Science
  • Good knowledge and experience in the IT industry, with expertise in IPTV products
  • Deep experience in Oracle Database, operating systems (Linux), and hardware (servers, storage, network devices)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Python, or Java)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Ability to provide 24x7 service supervision and urgent on-call support
  • Fluency in English, with German or Chinese as an additional language
