IPTV Technical Support Specialist

ConfiARTE is seeking skilled IPTV Technical Support Specialists to contribute to a significant project.

Key Responsibilities


• Deliver technical assistance for IPTV application maintenance and product operations.


• Conduct troubleshooting, log collection, and root cause analysis for IPTV applications.


• Engage with clients regarding technical inquiries.


• Implement new functionalities or business enhancements through product configuration.


• Maintain hardware components, including servers, storage, and network devices, while performing related problem analysis.


• Oversee Linux backend and file system maintenance, as well as database management.


• Manage the installation of new application patches and releases.


• Set up and maintain testing environments.


• Provide support during functionality and acceptance testing of IPTV systems.


• Execute application automation and script development.


• Ensure comprehensive documentation of standards, guidelines, and procedures for effective application management.


• Generate reports on system health, capacity, and performance.


• Implement and uphold audit and compliance standards as required.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or Computer Science.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience in the IT sector, particularly with IPTV products.
  • Extensive experience with Oracle Database, Linux operating systems, and hardware such as servers and network devices.
  • Proficient in scripting languages including Shell, Perl, Python, or Java.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting processes, response protocols, escalation procedures, and reporting.
  • Strong English communication skills; proficiency in German or Chinese is a plus.
  • Ability to provide 24/7 service supervision through urgent on-call support.
