Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Design Organization's compliance through effective utilization of airworthiness assurance methodologies (such as audits, scorecards, and safety incident assessments), including thorough investigation of findings and queries until resolution.
  • Evaluate potential risks, particularly those identified through the Design Organization Approval Safety Management System (DOA-SMS).
  • Conduct investigations, establish corrective actions, and ensure timely implementation.
  • Perform monitoring functions related to Engineering Safety Management Systems.
  • Provide advisory support within the Design Organization regarding DOA-related matters.
  • Qualify and monitor suppliers with design responsibilities while assisting the DOA Management and Policies department in obtaining and maintaining necessary approvals.

Your Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or a related field.
  • Familiarity with certification standards in both military and civilian regulatory frameworks is essential.
  • Proven experience in auditing is required.
  • Auditor training is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in German is a plus.
