Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the compliance of Design Organizations through effective utilization of airworthiness assurance methodologies (e.g., audits, scorecards, evaluation of safety incidents with potential root causes in development operations, etc.), including thorough investigation of findings and inquiries until resolution.
- Evaluate potential risks, as identified through the DOA-SMS (DOA: Design Organization Approval, SMS: Safety Management System).
- Conduct investigations, establish corrective actions, and ensure their timely implementation.
- Perform the monitoring role within the Engineering - SMS.
- Provide advisory support within the Design Organization on DOA-related matters.
- Qualify and monitor Suppliers with Design Responsibility, assisting the DOA Management, Policies, and Expertise department in acquiring, managing, and maintaining Airbus DS Design Organization Approvals.
Your Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with certification requirements in both military and civil regulatory frameworks is essential.
- Prior experience in auditing is mandatory.
- Certification as an Auditor is preferred.
- Proficiency in German is advantageous.
