Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the compliance of Design Organizations through effective utilization of airworthiness assurance methodologies (e.g., audits, performance metrics, safety incident evaluations, etc.), including thorough investigation of findings and ensuring resolution.
- Evaluate potential risks as identified through the Design Organization Approval Safety Management System (DOA-SMS).
- Conduct thorough investigations, establish corrective actions, and ensure timely implementation.
- Perform monitoring functions related to Engineering Safety Management Systems.
- Provide advisory support within the Design Organization on matters related to Design Organization Approval.
- Assess and monitor suppliers with design responsibilities, assisting the management of Design Organization Approvals.
Your Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with certification standards in both military and civil aviation regulations is essential.
- Proven experience in auditing is required.
- Certification as an auditor is preferred.
- Proficiency in German is advantageous.
