**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Assurance Specialist to join our team at Bishop GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the certification and compliance of our aerospace products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Collaborate with Airworthiness and Certification Authorities to discuss certification baselines and levels of involvement.
  • Monitor supplier development to ensure compliance with RTCA/DO-254 and RTCA/DO-178 standards.
  • Prepare reviews with Airworthiness and Certification Authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Define documentation requirements for hardware and software development in accordance with industry standards.
  • Report on compliance with criticality and safety requirements, as well as program development schedules.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Aerospace.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in configuration management, electrical engineering, or electronics.
  • Experience in software and/or hardware development is required.
  • Requirements engineering experience is a plus.
  • Self-reliant and systematic work approach.
  • Stress-resistance.
  • Ability to work in an international team.
  • Proficiency in IT standards such as RTCA/DO-254 and RTCA/DO-178.
  • Experience with complex electronic hardware devices, such as microcoded components.
  • Business fluent German and English.
