Your Career Path

The Strategic Account Executive collaborates with our clients to secure their comprehensive digital landscape. You are driven by the ambition to address critical challenges within our clients' secure environments, equipping them with solutions for every phase of threat mitigation. This position plays a crucial role in driving company revenue and expansion. As a seasoned and dynamic sales expert, you are accountable for leading and managing sales initiatives while effectively utilizing partner networks.

Your Contribution

  • As a Strategic Account Executive, you will lead and coordinate extensive, intricate sales processes and collaborate with our internal partners and teams to optimally serve the client.
  • Your consultative sales expertise will uncover business challenges and devise solutions for prospects and existing clients.
  • Comprehend the competitive landscape and client requirements to effectively position the portfolio of Palo Alto Networks solutions.
  • Establish clear objectives and maintain precise forecasting by developing a comprehensive territory strategy.
  • Utilize client success stories to craft a compelling value proposition with insights tailored to that specific account.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and trends, and their implications for Palo Alto Networks products and services.
  • Travel as required within your territory and to company-wide gatherings.

Qualifications

Your Background

  • Familiarity and expertise in platform-based architectures, preferably within the network, cloud, and/or security sectors.
  • Experience engaging with Public Sector clients, particularly in the Social Welfare domain.
  • Proven track record in selling complex solutions, value-based selling, and/or consultative sales methodologies.
  • Technical proficiency in understanding how technology products and solutions address business challenges.
  • Ability to identify issues, analyze data, determine root causes, and provide scalable solutions.
  • Build and nurture relationships with our channel partners to implement a channel-centric go-to-market strategy for our clients.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the entire sales cycle and the capability to adhere to a structured sales process.
  • Ability to adopt a holistic approach to problem-solving by grasping the broader context and considering complex interrelationships and outcomes.
  • Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and with self-direction.
  • Proficient in both German and English.
