Position Overview
In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the enhancement and strategic direction of our learning platforms, focusing on elevating the employee learning journey and managing organization-wide learning and development (L&D) initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Strategy: Lead the evaluation, selection, implementation, and optimization of learning technologies to bolster employee development efforts; work in tandem with IT and HR departments to ensure smooth integration and user-friendly experiences.
- Enhancing Employee Learning: Formulate and execute strategies aimed at improving the overall employee learning experience, from onboarding through to continuous training and development; innovate training formats and methodologies to engage and empower the workforce.
- Onboarding Initiatives: Collaborate with HR and departmental leaders to create and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new employees, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and culture.
- Training Formats and Evaluation: Assess and recommend various training formats and platforms, including instructor-led sessions, e-learning modules, virtual classrooms, and social learning environments; continually evaluate and enhance the effectiveness and accessibility of training resources.
- L&D Analytics: Employ data analytics and feedback systems to gauge the impact and effectiveness of learning initiatives; analyze trends, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize learning outcomes.
- Group-Wide L&D Coordination: Oversee and synchronize organization-wide L&D initiatives, such as employee feedback surveys and talent development programs; collaborate with stakeholders to boost participation, gather insights, and implement actionable plans based on feedback.
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor the Platform Strategy & Employee Experience team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement; establish clear objectives and support team members in achieving their professional development goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with key stakeholders across various departments to identify learning needs, align priorities, and secure support for L&D initiatives; cultivate strong relationships to promote a culture of learning and development throughout the organization.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in Learning & Development, particularly in platform strategy and employee experience.
- Strong knowledge of learning technologies, instructional design principles, and adult learning theories.
- Experience managing learning platforms and learning management systems (LMS).
- Excellent project management capabilities, with the ability to handle multiple initiatives concurrently and deliver results within set timelines and budgets.
- Analytical skills to gather, analyze, and interpret data for informed decision-making and measuring learning initiative impacts.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities, inspiring and motivating team members towards excellence.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors and Qualtrics.
- Experience in a trading or similar commercial environment.
- SCRUM Master or Change Management experience, along with agile transformation knowledge.
