Platform Strategy Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our learning and development initiatives, driving the strategic direction of our employee experience and contributing to the overall success of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the employee learning experience, from onboarding to ongoing training and development.
  • Lead the assessment, selection, implementation, and optimisation of learning platforms and technologies to support employee development initiatives.
  • Partner with HR and departmental leaders to design and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires.
  • Evaluate and recommend training formats and platforms, including instructor-led training, e-learning modules, virtual classrooms, and social learning platforms.
  • Utilise data analytics and feedback mechanisms to measure the impact and effectiveness of learning initiatives.
  • Oversee and coordinate group-wide L&D initiatives, such as Employee Opinion Surveys, 360° Feedback programs, and other talent development initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Platform Strategy & Employee Experience team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to understand learning needs, align priorities, and ensure buy-in for L&D initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Learning & Development, with a focus on platform strategy, employee experience, and group-wide initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of learning technologies, instructional design principles, and adult learning theories.
  • Experience managing learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and other learning technology tools.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyse, and interpret data to inform decision-making and measure the impact of learning initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve excellence.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
