Platform Strategy and Employee Experience Manager

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the strategic direction of learning and development initiatives at RWE Supply & Trading GmbH. As a key member of the HR team, you will be responsible for improving and strategizing on our learning platforms, enhancing the employee learning experience, and overseeing group-wide L&D initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Strategy: Lead the assessment, selection, implementation, and optimization of learning platforms and technologies to support employee development initiatives; collaborate with IT and HR teams to ensure seamless integration and user-friendly experiences.
  • Employee Learning Experience: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall employee learning experience, from onboarding to ongoing training and development; design innovative training formats, methodologies, and delivery mechanisms to engage and empower employees.
  • L&D Analytics: Utilize data analytics and feedback mechanisms to measure the impact and effectiveness of learning initiatives; analyze trends, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize learning outcomes.
  • Group-Wide L&D Initiatives: Oversee and coordinate group-wide L&D initiatives, such as Employee Opinion Surveys, 360° Feedback programs, and other talent development initiatives; partner with stakeholders to drive participation, gather insights, and implement action plans based on feedback.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the Platform Strategy & Employee Experience team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Set clear goals and expectations, and support team members in achieving their professional development objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Learning & Development, with a focus on platform strategy, employee experience, and group-wide initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of learning technologies, instructional design principles, and adult learning theories.
  • Experience managing learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and other learning technology tools.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision-making and measure the impact of learning initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve excellence.
