HR Operations Specialist

Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated HR Operations Specialist with a focus on Payroll Management (m/f/d) to join our team at Deutsche Bahn AG.
Your Responsibilities:
- You will manage operational and administrative HR processes, particularly in payroll, serving as a key point of contact for employees and management.
- Your role includes ensuring timely and accurate data maintenance in relevant HR systems, verifying the completeness and correctness of documents, and ensuring compliance with legal and audit requirements for documentation and archiving.
- You will be responsible for generating reports/error logs, processing task lists, and reviewing and assessing data from HR systems, including independently resolving discrepancies and correcting errors.
- You will handle necessary clarifications and correspondence with clients and involved third parties, as well as manage complaints within your area of responsibility.
- You will ensure adherence to agreed service quality and standards, including maintaining quality-assured data in HR systems.
- You will comply with reporting obligations for payroll-related data within statutory deadlines.
- You will assist in onboarding new employees and participate in self-organized networks and working groups.
Your Profile:
- You possess a completed commercial training and ideally have experience in payroll management.
- You are proficient in MS Office and have experience with HR software such as PAISY and/or PeopleSoft, or are willing to learn new systems.
- You have solid knowledge of wage tax and social security law, along with experience in applying collective and company-specific regulations.
- Reliability and accuracy are second nature to you, and you approach your tasks independently and in an organized manner.
- You have a talent for explaining complex issues in an easily understandable way.
- Your open and communicative nature positively contributes to team dynamics.
- You are adaptable and resilient, with a keen interest in engaging in cross-functional topics and projects.
