The Key Account Management Team is pivotal in executing sales strategies that ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. As a Key Account Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison for our clients and prospects, reporting directly to the Director of Sales.
Key ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a highly driven Key Account Manager responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of key accounts, fostering trustworthy relationships, and promoting the growth of new key accounts, which will be a significant focus of your role.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Maintaining, enhancing, and expanding relationships with existing clients
- Driving client retention, contract renewals, and overall client satisfaction
- Achieving sales targets in a competitive landscape
- Assisting in the development of new customer segments within the energy sector, including new service offerings
- Identifying new opportunities within our competitive marketplace
- Collaborating closely with the marketing team to align objectives and achieve business goals, while coordinating with various departments to ensure clients receive maximum value from our services
- Supporting and contributing to internal initiatives, particularly with our partner European Commodity Clearing (ECC), to enhance customer satisfaction and ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services
- Managing the onboarding process for new clients
- Organizing and participating in client events and delivering impactful client presentations

Education
- Master's degree in economics, customer relations, business administration, or a related field
Language Proficiency
- Fluent in English and German; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in key account management within a competitive, multicultural environment
- Candidates with over 5 years of experience may be considered for a Senior Key Account Manager position
Compensation
- Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
- Location: Flexible among EPEX locations; travel across Europe will be required
We offer the flexibility of remote work in Germany for up to three days per week.
