TEAM OVERVIEW
Our dedicated packaging development team is focused on creating eco-friendly packaging solutions. We are seeking a passionate individual who shares our commitment to sustainability and is eager to lead industry advancements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Packaging Development Engineer (m/f/d), you will spearhead the design and assessment of sustainable and cost-effective packaging solutions that adhere to quality, regulatory, consumer, and environmental standards. You will also enhance existing packaging formats. You will identify opportunities for standardization and harmonization across various locations regarding packaging materials and formats, overseeing their execution. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, you will manage development projects in the packaging materials and technology sectors, ensuring alignment with our sustainability charter. Acting as a strategic liaison, you will oversee the product lines assigned to you, managing international packaging concepts and addressing packaging-related inquiries. Additionally, you will assist production facilities with trials of new packaging materials and establish necessary quality benchmarks.QUALIFICATIONS
A degree in packaging technology, packaging development, or a related field. Several years of experience with flexible and rigid packaging materials, along with substantial project management expertise. Proficiency in SAP and standard MS Office applications. Strong communication and networking abilities, enabling effective collaboration in international and interdisciplinary teams. Exceptional organizational skills, characterized by a structured and independent work style, with a focus on analytical and entrepreneurial thinking. Creativity, initiative, and assertiveness are key strengths. Proficient in both written and spoken German and English, with a willingness to travel internationally.BENEFITS
