Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our packaging development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing sustainable packaging solutions that meet our quality and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and evaluate sustainable packaging solutions that meet quality, trade, consumer, legal, and environmental requirements.
  • Optimize existing packaging to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for harmonization and standardization across locations for packaging materials and formats.
  • Coordinate development projects with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and monitor international packaging concepts and coordinate packaging-related issues.
  • Support production tests with new packaging materials or material alternatives and develop quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in packaging technology or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in handling flexible and dimensionally stable packaging materials.
  • Extensive project management experience.
  • Good knowledge of SAP and common MS Office programs.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
  • Remarkable organizational skills with a structured and independent way of working.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
