The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Packaging Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bielefeld. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and implementing sustainable packaging solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and the environment.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and evaluation of innovative and eco-friendly packaging designs, ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and sustainability standards.
  • Optimize existing packaging solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and improve product protection.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including research & development, production, and marketing, to ensure seamless integration of new packaging concepts.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and technologies in the packaging industry.
  • Manage and monitor international packaging projects, ensuring adherence to global standards and best practices.
Your Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of proven experience in the development and implementation of sustainable packaging solutions.
  • Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, including SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
