Opportunity Overview

The ZEISS Group is embarking on a transformative journey to globally realign its business operations, preparing the organization for future challenges. With approximately 14,000 employees currently utilizing existing SAP ERP systems, the company processes over 50 million transactions monthly.

As part of this initiative, ZEISS is focused on standardizing and streamlining various ERP systems across its global operations during the transition from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA. The primary objective is to align closely with SAP standards while harmonizing processes across all sectors and regions, emphasizing efficiency, effectiveness, speed, flexibility, and compliance.

This project presents a unique blend of excitement and complexity, with FIT4 serving as a critical component in realizing the Company's strategic agenda.

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee regional and segment-specific business requirements, including business roles and data design, within the global SAP S/4HANA template, conducting local fit-gap analyses under the guidance of deputy or hub process owners for end-to-end Lead-to-Cash processes.
  • Facilitate the adaptation of end-to-end Lead-to-Cash business processes, including process modeling, to achieve FIT4 objectives of harmonization and standardization, collaborating with entity business experts on preparatory tasks such as data cleansing.
  • Provide mentorship and direction to junior hub business experts in areas such as requirements analysis and business process modeling.
  • Design and manage test cases, conducting comprehensive functional end-to-end testing within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
  • Actively participate in the implementation of assigned roll-in projects within a specific region, and, if necessary, across various business units or segments.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials as organized by the training lead and, if required, assist in training end users.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Up to 2 years of relevant professional experience, particularly in Sales and Customer Relationship Management within the Devices and/or Implants & Disposables sectors.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Lead-to-Cash business processes, including customer order management, intercompany sales, and integration with sales-related processes and systems such as RAR, CRM, and webshop interfaces.
  • Demonstrated experience in business requirements management and the design of business processes.
  • Familiarity with SAP R/3 and ideally SAP S/4HANA, along with relevant third-party business systems.
  • Relevant industry knowledge is essential.
  • Exceptional conceptual, results-oriented, and communication skills.
  • Adept at building networks and enthusiastic about working in a multicultural and interdisciplinary global team.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
