Your Mission
  • Facilitate the establishment of our US operations, ensuring adherence to all necessary registrations, compliance, and regulatory frameworks. Guide the initial phases of our expansion to guarantee a seamless launch of Circunomics in the USA.
  • Craft and implement a detailed market entry strategy for our Battery Lifecycle Management offerings in the USA. This involves pinpointing and engaging new market segments, creating targeted sales and marketing initiatives, and nurturing relationships with essential stakeholders.
  • Lead and supervise a team of sales, customer success, and account management professionals to deliver outstanding service to our clients while meeting sales objectives.
  • Forge and sustain strategic alliances with key entities in the battery sector, including manufacturers, recyclers, and other relevant stakeholders, to broaden the reach and influence of our Battery Lifecycle Management services.
  • Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to ensure the provision of innovative solutions tailored to the specific requirements of the USA market, keeping pace with industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Promote the growth of the circular battery economy by advocating for the advantages of our services and illustrating the value of a sustainable battery lifecycle.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor movements, and regulatory changes, adjusting our strategies and offerings to maintain competitiveness and compliance in the US landscape.
  • Ensure adherence to EU regulations, data security, and privacy standards to uphold the integrity and confidentiality of our clients' information.
  • Act as the representative of Circunomics in the USA by participating in industry events, trade exhibitions, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and showcase leadership capabilities.
  • Establish and maintain a robust performance tracking system to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and ensure ongoing improvement.
  • Work closely with Management and the Head of Sales to align strategies, exchange best practices, and guarantee a consistent customer experience across all regions.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, MBA, sales, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years in a leadership capacity within the battery sector, with a focus on automotive business and high-end technology solutions, ideally in a regional or national role.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with automotive and/or battery stakeholders: Mobility OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, system integrators, EV companies, Energy Storage Firms, Recyclers, or within the Second Life Market of Lithium-Ion Batteries.
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects and achieving ambitious goals.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to work autonomously and lead a team effectively.
  • Familiarity with EU regulations, data security, and privacy practices.
  • Willingness to travel within the US and EU regions.
  • Bonus Points for:
  • Experience in GreenTech startups, IoT, or Energy sectors.
  • Expertise in acquiring and managing key accounts.
  • Technical knowledge is advantageous.
  • Interest in Automotive/Cars/E-Vehicles is a plus.

The company has received support from seed investors and business angels, including startup builder Next Mobility Labs, recycler TES, Orlen VC, and Dr. Peter Mertens, former Chief Technology Officer of Audi. The Series A funding round is anticipated to conclude in the near future.
