About the Role

Cambrium is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our Commercial Team as a key member in driving the growth of our vegan collagen active ingredient globally. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for executing sales strategies to deliver revenue goals, building long-term relationships with personal care customers, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Head of Personal Care to develop sales strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.
  • Lead Generation and Management: Initiate outreach to new leads, develop a strong pipeline of personal care customers, and manage key accounts to close deals and provide after-sales service.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to expand business and provide clarity into their plans and forecasts.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting: Monitor, evaluate, and report on sales volume, areas of expansion, competitor activities, and products.
  • Product Launch Support: Assist with the launch of new products in the cosmetics ingredient space.
  • Trade Show Representation: Represent the company at trade shows and conferences.
  • Travel and Collaboration: Travel as required to collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Industry Expertise: Specialty chemicals background in the personal care and cosmetics industries.
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience selling ingredients into the personal care market or other relevant market space.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Strong sense of urgency and ability to understand and deliver on customer needs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent English communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
  • Location: Berlin based or within easy travel distance of our Berlin office (flexible remote work possible).
