Your RoleIdeal Candidate:

As the Personal Care Sales Lead at Cambrium, you will play a pivotal role in our Commercial Team, directly reporting to the Head of Personal Care. Your contributions will significantly influence our growth trajectory as you manage sales initiatives for our innovative vegan collagen active ingredient on a global scale. Your primary focus will be to achieve revenue targets while cultivating enduring relationships with our personal care clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Head of Personal Care to formulate sales strategies aligned with growth objectives.
  • Proactively reach out to potential clients and establish a robust pipeline of personal care customers, including brands, contract manufacturers, and distributors, aimed at driving revenue.
  • Oversee Key Accounts from initial engagement to deal closure and post-sale support, ensuring the maintenance of existing relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Develop strong customer relationships to enhance business growth and gain insights into customer plans and forecasts.
  • Analyze and report on sales performance, market expansion opportunities, competitor activities, and product offerings.
  • Assist in the introduction of new products within the cosmetics ingredient sector.
  • Represent Cambrium at industry trade shows and conferences.
  • Travel as necessary to meet company objectives.
Your ProfileQualifications:
  • Experience in specialty chemicals within the personal care and cosmetics sectors.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in selling ingredients to the personal care market or a related field.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to understand and meet customer needs.
  • Exceptional English communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to engage effectively with both business and technical teams.
  • Located in Berlin or within a reasonable travel distance, with flexibility for remote work.
