About the Role

Cambrium is a pioneering biotech company that leverages the power of biology to create sustainable materials for the cosmetics, fashion, and packaging industries. We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager for Personal Care to join our Commercial Team and drive revenue growth for our vegan collagen active ingredient.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the Head of Personal Care to design and implement sales strategies that align with the company's revenue objectives.
  • Build and Manage Key Accounts: Establish and maintain strong relationships with personal care customers, including brands, contract manufacturers, and distributors, to drive sales growth and identify new opportunities.
  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Proactively seek out new leads and develop a robust pipeline of personal care customers to generate revenue.
  • Monitor and Analyze Sales Performance: Track and evaluate sales volume, areas of expansion, competitor activities, and product performance to inform business decisions.
  • Represent the Company at Industry Events: Attend trade shows and conferences to promote Cambrium's products and build relationships with industry stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Industry Expertise: A strong background in the personal care and cosmetics industries, with a deep understanding of the market and its trends.
  • Sales Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience selling ingredients into the personal care market or other relevant market space.
  • Business Acumen: Excellent business skills, including the ability to understand and deliver on customer needs, and a strong sense of urgency to drive results.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
  • Location: Based in Berlin or within easy travel distance of our Berlin office, with flexible remote work options available.
