The Role: Business Development Leader

We are seeking talented individuals to join our growing sales team. As a Business Development Leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of mobility by developing creative solutions and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from identifying prospects to closing deals.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day business development activities, fostering relationships with key stakeholders in the transportation sector, including transit agencies, partners, and advertisers.
  • Manage the procurement process end-to-end, including RFP proposal preparation, statement of work development, cost estimation, pricing strategies, negotiation, and contract administration.
  • Develop and execute channel sales programs to drive market penetration and convert prospects into customers.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients and secure follow-on business opportunities.
  • Lead reporting processes and present key performance indicators to leadership.
  • Supervise the maintenance of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, ensuring accurate data management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product management and engineering, to advocate for client needs and ensure alignment with roadmap requirements.
  • Demonstrate exceptional relationship management skills at the highest levels, employing diplomacy, consultation, and persuasion to influence key decision-makers.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the transportation and political landscape within your assigned region. Identify factors driving decision-making and policy changes, acting as an advisor to clients.
  • Represent moovel Group at industry conferences, showcasing our platform solutions and engaging with potential partners.

Your Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience working within state and local government in areas such as sales, business development, proposal management, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and closing deals within the transportation industry.
  • Strong understanding of the procurement process and RFP requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for mobility solutions and a desire to make a positive impact on the industry.
