Position Overview:

We are seeking a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to provide expert technical support to our customers in the EMEA region. This role is crucial in establishing strong relationships with key clients and collaborating with sales management and distribution partners to achieve product design wins that contribute to our revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with customers' engineering teams, serving as the primary technical support for AOS products.
  • Collaborate closely with AOS Sales and Product Line teams to advocate for new products and solutions, ensuring alignment with company objectives for sustainable growth.
  • Act as an expert in power electronics, particularly in the areas of Motor Control and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
  • Deliver design-in technical support to customers and distributors, enhancing their understanding of our products.
  • Conduct training sessions on technical products and system-level solutions for customers, distributors, and the AOS sales team.
  • Travel to customer locations to provide promotion, technical assistance, and engage in discussions.
  • Identify and propose new product development opportunities to AOS Product Lines based on customer feedback.
  • Regularly report on design status and activities to the Regional Sales Director in Europe.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in analog hardware design, specifically for motor control and power supply applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of MOSFETs, IGBTs, Driver ICs, and DC/DC IC controllers.
  • Prior experience in technical customer support within the power semiconductor industry is preferred.
  • Strong intercultural competence and communication skills, with proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across the EMEA region and occasionally to the USA and Asia, with an estimated travel ratio of 30-40%.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours to accommodate global collaboration.
  • Valid driver's license (Class B).
