Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Samsung. As a Field Application Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers in the Automotive Semiconductor industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical meetings with customers to promote new products and address technical issues
- Deliver product roadmaps, features, and value propositions to customers
- Track projects and anticipate customer's requests
- Identify and communicate current and future customer needs and technical requirements
- Drive development and quality teams to fulfill customer's requirements
- Provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle from promotion phase to the end of production
- Responsible for testing, debugging, delivering, guiding, and documenting software deliverables
- Work closely with other HW/SW FAEs, marketing team, and engineering team from all over the world in resolving customer issues
Requirements
- Master of Science degree or equivalent in electronics, physics, or related areas
- 5 to 10 years of technical experience in semiconductor, ideally in SoC SW development or SoC customer support
- Experience in embedded system, C language, device driver, or middleware in Linux/Android
- Experience with Automotive Hardware and board bring-up activity
- Experience in Bootloader, QNX, Yocto, C++, Python, and Java is a strong plus
- Experience in Agile process, DevOps, CI/CD is a strong plus
- Self-starter with ability to work under minimum supervision
- Assertive, determined, flexible, and creative personality
- Strong customer orientation
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Persuasive and professional presentation skills
- Very good communication skills and ability to negotiate at all levels
- Very good written and spoken English – additional languages are a plus
