Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our OMNI Detection department at our Taufkirchen site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing national and international customer projects in the area of missile warning systems for flying platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage national and international customer projects in the area of missile warning systems for flying platforms
  • Ensure the cooperation of all necessary stakeholders in an international environment during the entire project phases
  • Achieve project goals, particularly with regard to costs, time, and performance/quality, including proactive risk and opportunity management
  • Initiate, control, and coordinate all measures necessary to achieve the goals in the organizational units involved
  • Support in the planning and implementation of the strategic tasks of the business unit, with the aim of market-related development of products and future concepts, expanding market shares, and ensuring the implementation and pursuit of this strategy in the area of responsibility
  • Acquisition support and the creation of offers based on customer inquiries to achieve our international growth goals
  • Contribute to the good team spirit of our department and to a strong corporate culture

Requirements

  • Completed university degree, preferably in the field of engineering, industrial engineering, or business management, and several years of professional experience in project management
  • Independent, solution-oriented work, and very good communication skills
  • Experience working in international teams and as an interface to a wide variety of organizational units and customers
  • Confident appearance in an international, military environment, and in conducting negotiations
  • Experience in managing complex military projects with several subcontractors
  • Experience in preparing offers and negotiating contracts in an international environment
  • Knowledge/experience in the field of aerospace and/or defense, ideally specifically knowledge of self-protection systems
  • Fluent German and English
