As a Senior Sales Executive for Risk Data & Services, your primary objective will be to enhance our customer base in the Germany/DACH region. This involves identifying, nurturing, and securing strategic partnerships with key decision-makers in risk management at various corporations. While this position is inherently entrepreneurial, we seek a senior sales professional with a robust background in the SaaS, AI software, and/or cloud platform sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new and cross-sales initiatives within the Germany/DACH region.
  • Develop and execute a territory strategy to surpass sales signings and revenue objectives.
  • Identify, cultivate, and finalize new business opportunities with influential customer stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with C-level executives within the regional risk management landscape, including clients, service providers, prospects, and partners.
  • Tackle deal-level challenges both independently and collaboratively.

Your role will also involve coordinating client engagement efforts across Germany/DACH, with shared accountability for success:

  • Establish sales forecasts, continuously enhance our commercial offerings, professionalize business case development, pinpoint scalable market opportunities, and articulate a compelling value proposition.
  • Ensure that customer feedback is communicated effectively to product management.
  • Lead client-facing initiatives, maintaining open communication channels aligned with business strategies and the needs of stakeholders.

Collaboration

Collaboration is essential in this role. You will partner with various teams possessing deep expertise to refine our offerings, including key account managers, underwriters, engineers, market organizations, brokers, and other service providers. Your success will be intertwined with the team's achievements, as effective integration within the broader team is crucial for success.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in selling large, intricate enterprise-grade SaaS/AI/cloud platform solutions.
  • A proven track record of securing business for new SaaS/Platform/Cloud services, with evidence of winning strategic deals in competitive settings.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams, including client management, solution experts, and external partners, to support new business closures.
  • A Master’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in German and business-level English.
  • Additional European language skills are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the European commercial risk insights market, particularly in climate risk, supply chain risk, or property risk.

This role may involve some travel within the DACH region, not exceeding 30%.
