Senior Data Solutions Specialist

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you'll play a critical role in helping our customers overcome complex data challenges and unlock new opportunities.
You'll work closely with our collaborative and customer-focused team to deliver technical solutions that drive business value. Your expertise will be essential in demonstrating the power of our platform and helping customers realize their goals.
Your Impact:
- Drive key new opportunities or help customers realize value from Databricks deployments, working closely with the account team.
- Gain excitement from clients about Databricks through hands-on evaluation and Spark programming, integrating with the wider cloud ecosystem.
- Contribute to building the Databricks technical community through engagement at workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
- Support customers by authoring reference architectures, how-to's, and demo applications.
- Develop both technically and in the pre-sales aspect with the goal of becoming an independently operating Solutions Architect.
What We Look For:
- Familiarity working with clients, creating a narrative for Databricks value, answering customer questions, and having bias for action and problem-solving skills.
- Collaboration with the accounts' Account Executive and Solution Architect, taking the lead in driving forward relevant scenarios.
- Ability to independently deliver a technical proposition, address customers' pain-points, and explain important areas for business value.
- Prior experience with coding in a core programming language and willingness to learn Spark.
- Knowledgeable in the core Big Data Analytics domain with some exposure to advanced proofs-of-concept and an understanding of a major public cloud platform.
- Experience diving deeper into solution architecture and design.
- Preference for existing skills in Data Warehousing and/or Serverless technologies.
