Bayer, a leading life science company, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Global Warehouse & Transportation team as an Intern in Intercompany Delivery Management. This exciting opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience in a fast-paced and innovative environment, where you will have the chance to make a real impact on our supply chain operations.
About the Role
As an Intern in Intercompany Delivery Management, you will be responsible for supporting our team in various projects and initiatives, including Order Management, Export documentation, and Continuous Improvement Initiatives. You will work closely with our global team to identify and implement process improvements, drive sustainability initiatives, and support day-to-day business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Intercompany Delivery Management projects, including Order Management and Export documentation
- Assist in Department Metrics measurement and Performance Evaluation
- Help identify and implement Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Support Sustainability Initiatives within Intercompany Delivery Management
- Contribute to day-to-day business operations, as needed
Requirements
- Ongoing Master's degree in Business Administration, preferably with a focus on logistics, supply chain management, or similar
- Experience in project management in an international environment is desirable
- Interest and initial professional experience in supply chain management and transportation & warehousing
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office package, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Ability to work creatively, analytically, and in a structured manner
- Strong communication skills and interest in working with international colleagues from diverse functions and disciplines
- Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
