Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics and Supply Chain Management Intern to join our team in Leverkusen, Germany. As a Logistics and Supply Chain Management Intern, you will be responsible for supporting our logistics and supply chain operations, including process development, data analysis, and system maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement processes for onboarding new locations and transport lanes, including the creation of checklists
- Analyze and evaluate data from various sources, including master data and transactional data
- Harmonize regional master data and maintain systems in SAP and AX4
- Support the settlement of transportation costs in our 4PL setup for overland and global modes, including the identification of continuous improvement opportunities
- Support the introduction of a government process for transportation routes, including all related components such as transportation times, handling, and warehouse activities
- Support the creation of KPI dashboards for internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Enrollment in a degree program in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Problem-solving skills and a logical and analytical approach
- Excellent communication and language skills in German and English
