Internship in Launch Logistics/Project Management (all genders)

The global warehouse and transportation division at Bayer oversees a range of strategic and operational initiatives within the pharmaceutical and consumer health supply chain. The Launch Logistics team focuses on the supply chain and transportation setup for new products, addressing unique challenges related to digital, technical, and sustainable solutions. Our team collaborates across functions early in the product development phase to ensure optimal and sustainable transportation and storage solutions for new products.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND LEARNING GOALS

  • Assist the team with project management tasks in the realm of launch logistics.
  • Contribute to the formulation of project plans, track project progress, and ensure deliverables are met.
  • Prepare presentations and status reports for stakeholders.
  • Support data analysis and evaluation, presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Conduct internal and external research on various topics, particularly in digital, technical, and sustainable transportation solutions for new Bayer products.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration, ideally with a focus on logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience in project management within an international context is preferred.
  • Demonstrated interest and initial experience in supply chain management, transportation, and warehousing.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint); familiarity with analysis and visualization tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work creatively, analytically, and in an organized manner, with strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with international colleagues across various functions.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
