Intern in Launch Logistics/Project Management (all genders)

The global warehouse and transportation division at Bayer oversees a range of strategic and operational initiatives within the pharmaceutical and consumer health supply chain. The Launch Logistics team focuses on the supply chain and transportation setup for new products, tackling specific challenges related to digital, technical, and sustainable solutions. Our team collaborates across functions early in the product development phase to ensure optimal and sustainable transportation and storage solutions for new products.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND LEARNING GOALS

  • Assist the team with project management tasks in the realm of launch logistics.
  • Contribute to the formulation of project plans, track project milestones, and deliverables.
  • Prepare presentations and status reports.
  • Support data analysis and evaluation, presenting findings clearly and concisely. Conduct internal and external research on various topics, particularly in digital, technical, and sustainable transportation solutions for new Bayer products.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration, ideally with a focus on logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Desirable experience in project management within an international context.
  • Interest and preliminary work experience in supply chain management and transportation & warehousing.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint); familiarity with analysis and visualization tools is a plus.
  • Creative, analytical, and structured work approach with strong communication skills and a desire to collaborate with international colleagues across various functions.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
