Position: Intern in Strategy & Projects - Global Supply Chain Logistics (all genders)

The Strategy & Projects team is seeking your assistance in shaping the supply chain for Bayer AG's Pharmaceuticals and Consumer Health Division. Our team is responsible for a variety of essential initiatives, crafting strategies to ensure our Supply Chain provides optimal service while adhering to compliance and resilience, all at the most efficient cost. We tackle both strategic and operational challenges related to network design, processes, organization, digital transformation, and sustainability. This role offers you profound insights into Bayer's logistics, encompassing everything from product manufacturing to warehousing and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a project team focusing on strategy, network design, process optimization, organization, and IT solutions.
  • Assist the team with project-related tasks while managing your own responsibilities.
  • Support strategic assessments and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop detailed analyses and engage in workshops, interviews, or research.
  • Contribute actively and implement suggestions to enhance daily operations.
  • Gain valuable insights into the daily functions of a global logistics department within a life sciences organization.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, ideally with a focus on logistics or supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated motivation, interest, and preliminary experience in supply chain management, transportation, and warehousing.
  • Experience in project management within an international context is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with analysis and visualization tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work creatively, analytically, and in a structured manner.
  • Strong communication skills and a desire to collaborate with international colleagues across various functions.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
