Position Overview

The Senior Compliance Officer (m/f/d) for Anti-Financial Crime at PIMCO Prime Real Estate GmbH plays a crucial role in supporting the global Chief Compliance Officer in navigating compliance and regulatory challenges, particularly in the realm of anti-financial crime (AFC) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Compliance Officer will oversee compliance issues related to Prime's real estate advisory, investment, and management operations on a global scale. Key responsibilities include:

  • Enhancing compliance policies and procedures to align with evolving legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Monitoring and analyzing global legal and regulatory trends to ensure compliance applicability.
  • Creating and executing internal compliance procedures, templates, and best practices while offering support to the global compliance team.
  • Conducting risk assessments and ongoing compliance testing and monitoring.
  • Implementing AFC due diligence processes, conducting investigations, and managing remedial actions.
  • Providing compliance guidance to business units.
  • Designing and delivering tailored compliance training for employees.
  • Representing compliance and AFC in executive meetings and committees, ensuring effective reporting to stakeholders.
  • Managing regulatory audits and coordinating necessary remediation efforts.
  • Fostering a robust compliance culture within the organization.

  • Experience in a global coordination role focused on legal and regulatory compliance.
  • A university degree, preferably in law.
  • Fluency in English and German; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
