The Senior Compliance Officer (m/f/d) for Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) at PIMCO Prime Real Estate GmbH plays a crucial role in assisting the global Chief Compliance Officer with compliance and regulatory obligations, particularly focusing on anti-financial crime initiatives such as anti-money laundering, bribery, corruption, and sanctions.

This role can be based in various locations, including Munich, Frankfurt, or Stuttgart.

Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Compliance Officer will oversee compliance matters related to Prime's real estate advisory, investment, and management operations on a global scale. Key responsibilities include:

  • Enhancing compliance policies, procedures, and processes in alignment with evolving legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Monitoring significant legal and regulatory changes worldwide and assessing their relevance.
  • Developing and executing internal compliance procedures, templates, and best practices while providing support to the global compliance team.
  • Conducting risk assessments and ongoing monitoring activities.
  • Executing compliance tasks in accordance with global policies, focusing on AFC due diligence, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Advising business units and delivering tailored compliance training to employees.
  • Representing compliance and AFC in executive boards and committees.
  • Ensuring effective reporting to stakeholders and management.
  • Fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders within Prime and the global PIMCO group.
  • Managing regulatory audits and coordinating remediation efforts.
  • Promoting a robust compliance culture across the organization.
