Role Overview:
The Senior Compliance Officer (m/f/d) will play a crucial role in supporting the Chief Compliance Officer with compliance and regulatory responsibilities, particularly in the realm of anti-financial crime (AFC). This position will be pivotal in overseeing compliance matters related to Prime's real estate advisory, investment, and management operations worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Enhance compliance frameworks by actively improving policies, procedures, and processes in alignment with evolving legal and regulatory landscapes.
2. Monitor global legal and regulatory developments, assessing their relevance and proposing actionable solutions.
3. Develop and implement internal compliance procedures and best practices, providing guidance to the global compliance team.
4. Conduct risk assessments and ongoing compliance testing and monitoring.
5. Execute compliance activities focused on AFC due diligence, conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
6. Offer strategic advice and support to business units, fostering a culture of compliance.
7. Design and deliver tailored compliance training for employees.
8. Represent compliance and AFC interests in executive boards and committees, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
9. Manage regulatory audits and coordinate remediation efforts.
10. Promote a robust compliance culture throughout the organization.
Professional Skills Required:
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proactive approach to driving organizational change.
- Ability to adapt to shifting business priorities.
- Ownership of compliance topics with a strong ethical foundation.
- Exceptional organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in compliance, particularly in AFC, ideally within financial services or real estate.
- University degree, preferably in law, with strong proficiency in English and German; additional languages are advantageous.
