- Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and maintain a customer database, and deliver compelling sales pitches to prospective clients.
- Customer Service and Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, address customer inquiries promptly, and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with the operations team to plan and coordinate shipments, ensure accurate and timely delivery, monitor shipment progress, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and revenue, and generate regular sales reports and forecasts.
- Industry Knowledge and Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitors, and identify opportunities for improvement and expansion.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales and customer service within the logistics industry.
- Proficiency in using CRM and TMS software, as well as other relevant tools.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of freight forwarding operations and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication skills, with a good command of English and German.
