Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist to join our team at Edwards Lifesciences in Germany. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for managing relationships with large Edwards customers, identifying and developing new sales opportunities, and building strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and influencers in the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact within the business unit for assigned customers, utilizing a full understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology relevant to Edwards medical products.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with customers, anesthesiologists, intensivists, surgeons, and other influencers in the assigned region to push Edwards positioning in the market.
  • Develop and close new business opportunities with existing customers and identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets.
  • Other incidental duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 5 years of progressive sales experience.
  • Medical devices industry experience.

Additional Skills

  • Full knowledge of the strengths and limitations of Edwards products and competitor products.
  • Develop a deeper understanding of the business, medical devices industry, and selling environment of the region.
  • Full knowledge of customer organizations and how the market environment impacts customers.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strict attention to detail.
  • Understand customer needs, feedback, and objections and explain products to influence customer perception of value.
